This is the complete ambient score for the first six episodes of A World Where. I left out the music from Served and the in-world songs from Ash. Because those weren’t part of the score itself, I opted to use some Logic presets to save time. They work well for the episodes, but I wanted the soundtrack to only be stuff I made from scratch, without presets or digital instruments.

The melodies were pretty much improvised, not around any specific chord progression but more around each episode’s individual feeling. The drones were made from bowing my guitar with a cello bow, with heavy distortion and a hi-pass filter. The whole score is in D. Thinking Vol. 2 might move down to C#.

Much of this album was made frantically, days after the deadline had passed. There’s a few mistakes, some missed notes here and there, but I’ve left those in because that’s how it was in the show, and it feels more honest. I’m really proud of this piece, warts and all. I hope you enjoy it.
